New Blog
A friend of mine just recently started a new blog and I thought some of you might be interested in reading it. She has begun a quest to get completely out of debt and her new blog will chronicle that journey. You can go to her blog and read all about it.

The Wheel of Time series
I have mentioned before that I am a huge fan of Robert Jordan and his Wheel of Time series. The last book in the series is projected to come out in October of 2012, with the help of Brandon Sanderson due to the passing of Jordan, and I am getting myself ready for the last book. I have decided that I am going to do a complete read through of the series so that I am ready for the last book when it is on the book store shelves. I thought others might want to join me and we can have a book club type discussion over the books. If you would like to join me, comment below and let me know and we will get this thing started.
I am starting with the prequel-New Spring. I am planning to start it by this weekend and then will begin to post some discussion topics and can't wait to hear what others think.

CraveBox
A few months ago, a friend on facebook had posted a link to something called the CraveBox. I followed the link and found out it was a new program starting and you could sign up for their test program. If you were chosen, you paid $10 a month and received a box of goodies each month. The goodies would be a range of products-some trial size and some full size. I thought this was a great idea and I signed up for two as I wanted to give it to my mom for year as part of her Christmas present. Well, I was lucky enough to be selected.
December was the first month and the box had some lotion, ink pens, a chocolate bar, and some other chocolates. I liked the December selection but wasn't ecstatic over it. Well, my opinion of CraveBox has grown after receiving the January box. It contained a bottle of extra virgin olive oil, face toner, Ester C vitamins, a pedometer-that you can plug into your computer and win gift cards for how many steps you take, and the latest selection of Prevention magazine-with a full year's subscription to it. I couldn't believe all the goodies that were included and the total of the package was well over 100.00. Check out the picture below of what was in my box.
I am counting down the days until I get my February box and I must say just opening the box before you even see what is inside, is great fun. The goodies are wrapped in bright pink tissue paper and it is at once elegant and enticing-almost like a spa in a box (even though all the items are spa related). I urge you to contact CraveBox and try to get in as they are adding people as they have room for more to take part in their program.
