The Warren County Public Library is proud to sponsor best-selling author Beverly Lewis on Monday, September 27 at 6:00 p.m.
Beverly Lewis, raised in Pennsylvania Amish country, is a former schoolteacher, an accomplished musician, and an award-winning author of more than eighty books for adults and children, many of which have appeared on bestseller lists, including USA Today and The New York Times. Her novel The Brethren won a 2007 Christy Award for excellence in Christian fiction. Writing memorable stories set in Amish farmland brings Beverly continual joy and inspiration. Her own family heritage is Old Order Mennonite, but she has many dear friends among Amish communities in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Indiana. Beverly lives in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
“We are delighted to have Beverly Lewis speak at our library,” says Director Lisa Rice. “Her books are very popular as well as inspiring.”
Free tickets are available at the Main Library and the Bob Kirby Branch. Due to space limitations, this event will be held in the Activity Room at the Christ Episcopal Church next door to the Main Library. For more information, call 781-4882 or email Jayne Pelaski at jaynep@warrenpl.org
