Book Giveaway-Career Comeback: Repackage Yourself to Get the Job You Want by Lisa Johnson Mandell

I have five copies of Career Comback to giveaway. This contest is open to US and Canadian residents. Sorry, but no PO Box addresses. To enter, please leave a comment about your dream job. Be sure to leave an email address, if I can't contact you, another winner will be chosen. The winners will be selected on January 8.

Book Summary:
Unfortunately, getting older can be a career killer. That's what entertainment journalist Lisa Johnson Mandell discovered when she sent out a resume that made her sound like an aged veteran. Her new career makeover guide-expanded from the Wall Street Journal article about revamping her "older" image to land her dream job-acknowledges that experience matters, but looking and acting up-to-date matter just as much. Mandell provides ten strategies for putting a youthful spin on resumes, Web pages, and personal presentation.

  4. Sounds like a great read and one I need desperately right now as I lost my job due to cut backs last week.

My dream job would be writing as a travel journalist or photographer, but thus far that is a hobby and doesn't pay the bills. I also would love working for an NGO or the United Nations helping those people in need.

Please accept this as my entry. Thank you!
